This 'Soft Contemporary' design is characterized by modern design elements that are balanced with rich materials that soften the clean lines of the architecture and give the home a warm appeal. In the proposed design, we have articulated a high roof with exposed structural timber framing to create a unifying rhythm throughout the home. The structural beams align with the building footprint and door/window openings below to resolve the varied levels of the building. The high ceilings soar through the home drawing the eye to the expansive ocean views beyond.
